Why We Created Our Family & Friends Catering Sizes

There’s something special about gathering the people you love around good food. But let’s be honest — cooking for a crowd can be a lot. Between planning, prepping, and cleaning up, it’s easy for the joy to get lost in the chaos.

We get it. Some people love the buzz of cooking for a big group — if that’s your jam, we salute you! But for everyone else — the ones who can’t think of anything worse than cooking for ten but still want to make an impression — this is for you.

A Little Backstory

We actually offered catering a while back — and for a time, it was wonderful. We loved being part of people’s celebrations and milestones. But it was also a big leap for us, managing that alongside our ready-made meals.

Eventually, we realised something important: catering only for our local community meant a lot of our wider Good Farm family was missing out. So we thought, why not create a range that could go as far as our other meals? Something that could bring that same generosity and connection to the table — wherever you are.

The Easiest Way to Feed a Crowd (and Look Like You’ve Got It Together)

Our catering (Family & Friends) sizes were created so you can host without the stress. They’re made from the same beautiful, organic, and regenerative ingredients we always use — just in larger sizes that make it effortless to feed everyone you love.

Each dish comes in a foil tray that can go straight into the oven and straight onto the table. You can serve them as they are, or easily transfer them onto your favourite platters for a more polished look. (Except for the pies — they’re best left in their packaging for perfect crusts every time.)

Every meal includes detailed heating instructions, but in simple terms: thaw, remove the lid, heat in your oven, and serve. Two catering trays fit side by side on one standard oven shelf, which means you can heat up to four at once — just allow a little extra time.
