The Good Farm Shop is a produce-driven ready-meals business (HQ in Brookvale NSW) focused on creating high quality nutritious REAL meals, with produce sourced directly from regenerative farms and trusted local growers. About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced cook or chef to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with exceptional ingredients, creating seasonal dishes, and being part of a collaborative kitchen. This is different to working in a cafe or restaurant, as we cook in batches in large brat pans.
You’ll work alongside other cooks to prepare our menu, contribute ideas, and help deliver consistently excellent food.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality seasonal dishes

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during prep and service

Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation

Assist with prep, dishing up and daily kitchen organisation

Contribute ideas for specials and seasonal dishes

Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Help minimise waste and respect the quality of the ingredients we use
About You
-
Highly experienced cook or chef (5+ years preferred)

Passion for seasonal, produce-driven cooking

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable working with brat pans and a certain about of physicality
- A strong work ethic, reliable and positive

A team player who contributes positively to kitchen culture

Strong understanding of food safety standards
Bonus (but not essential)

Experience baking, fermenting, or preserving

Interest in regenerative agriculture and sustainable food systems
