These boxes are heavily discounted due to presentation only. The meat is absolutely fine.
Reasons for discount include:
Vac seals not being tight enough to withstand some frost
The cut isn't up to scratch ie, too small or doesn't look "pretty enough"
Meat has been frozen in an awkward position
Once thawed the ice disappears, meat regains its shape and it tastes absolutely delicious. So these are bargain boxes! We're only covering costs with these prices but we will still endeavour to make them boxes interesting and delicious with a mix of prime and slow cook cuts.
